While my main focus is shoes, the addiction to Jordan 1s is real. When I was younger we couldn’t afford real Jordan’s so moms would buy us the Payless versions; pretty dope still. Go mom! The Payless versions weren’t considered cool because most kids had the real thing but mom did her best. I also used to work at a few different shoe stores back in the day and I had every Jordan that came out in the late 90s. It wasn’t what it was today. People weren’t waiting in lines for shoes or having multiple computer screens and phones open just to cop a pair on the day of a big drop. But I had brothers who wore my shoes, messed them up and now I’m working on rebuilding my shoe collection and then some. So yes, I’ve become one of those people who stand in line or has people stand in line for me, or has multiple screens open to ensure I get a pair. It be like that sometimes.
My latest pair are the Jordan 1 Bio Hacks, a recreation of my all-time favorite pair I used to own, the Undefeated Nike SB Dunk High.
If I were to define my style, I don’t know that I could. I just like what I like but my favorite “color” is camo because it goes with everything lol. If there’s one piece of fashion advice I can give right now, it’s be you and be confident. Looking forward to future posts here. Stay tuned.
