If you are at all like me when it comes to style I love to be comfortable and at a very young age I realized that wearing a suit wasn’t my favorite thing to do because personally I felt uncomfortable wearing them, in this post I will show you a few ways to wear a suit without a tie. First time I remember wearing a suit, I was the ring boy in my parents wedding and when I had to put it on it felt like torture! I felt restricted, hot, and uncomfortable. I think my tie was a clip on, I hated that too I didn’t want the shirt buttoned to the top on my neck I just new this wasn’t for me! I know for some people, and some close friends of mine they’ve been wearing suits all their lives, and a close friend from high school used to wear one to school daily and I remember everyone thought he was weird for doing so, but that was just a part of his personal style.
Fast forward to now as an adult my attitude towards suits have definitely changed a bit, while I still don’t wear them that often I’ve figured out ways to make them work for me and fit my personal style as well. It’s very easy especially when you can get something custom made you’re able to rock it just the way that best fits you. I recently had a suit made by friend Mike Moss of Big Man Culture, the suit was inspired by a suit I saw Lebron James wearing in a photoshoot, I like the cut, ironically it was a more tailored fitted suit, which is what I didn’t like about suits as a kid. Yet as an adult I realize that some of my stature that tailored/slim cut look very good on! The process of get this suit was very easy I met up with Mike and he took my measurements, we then looked over fabrics until I found the one that I like the most, from there the actually designing of the suit began and once it was all done I was very satisfied with the finished product.
