Anyone who knows me personally knows that for the most part, when it comes to music I’m stuck in the ’90s. Well, ever so often I find some vintage wear that I must have as well. This look definitely was inspired by some of the old photos of my granddad and uncles in my grandparents’ basement. I remember being a kid looking through the photos and being fascinated with the clothing they wore in the pictures. I come from a family that definitely prided themselves on dressing nice and looking good, I used to watch my Uncles and Aunts get ready to go out at night and couldn’t wait until I was old enough to go!
As a teen when I remember I went to a house party with my Aunt once and because I was so tall no one questioned my age lol. I quickly became fascinated with going out, dancing, and just having a good time with friends. I also grew tired of it by my mid-twenties, fast forward to now I’m that friend that falling asleep in the club or complaining that the music is too loud!! Yep, that’s me, so I usually just opt out and stay home don’t want to ruin everyone else’s night!
Fashion and music have always gone hand in hand, some of our favorite entertainers are also some of the biggest style icons ever. Aside from vintage clothing, I have an extreme love for music, especially 90s music and if you are a music lover like myself I have a few playlists you should check out.
