If you’ve been following my blog, you know that grooming is one of the topics that I discuss and blog about from time to time. Well, I recently traveled to New York for a photo shoot that required no facial hair! This meant my beard that I love so dearly had to go bye-bye for a little while. I really didn’t have time to find a barbershop or sit there and wait, so I had to think quickly. It’s designed to give a good shave and protect your skin all at once, thanks to the unique SkinGuard technology positioned between the blades. It also works to minimize tug and pull and cut hair at skin level and helps to prevent any type of irritation from occurring.
Overall, I think the quality of the SkinGuard razor is extremely well crafted. I haven’t had any razor bumps or skin irritation after use. The razor gives you a clean and smooth shave; my skin felt so soft after using. I love Gillete razors and even though Im heavily bearded, I still use their products at least once a week! Never any irratation which is imprtant for us guys of color.

I’ll def. check out this razor. Something similar happened to me in Australia four years ago (no photoshoot though. haha.) and with no barber, I had to do something. I discovered another Gillette razor in a drugstore and have been using it ever since! They make great products.

Even use a razor for the few strands I have under my chin lol! Finding a good one is of the utmost importance.
